DizitalFabrik Pty Ltd is an Australian-registered consultancy based in Sydney. We work on engineering delivery and systems integration for organisations in regulated industries — financial services, property settlement, health and government.
The work is mostly unglamorous and consequential: moving a settlement flow onto PEXA without breaking reconciliation, replacing an integration that fails silently, or getting a platform through an ISO 27001 audit. The common thread is that someone has to be accountable for the outcome.
We also build and operate our own mobile and web products. That is where our delivery practices get tested first, and it is why our privacy and security positions are published rather than asserted.
These are the criteria we apply when we make a call on an engagement, not a list of adjectives.
Deliver systems that hold up — under load, under audit, and after we have gone. Most of our work replaces something that did not.
We say what we will do, then report honestly on what happened. If an estimate slips you hear it from us, before you hear it from your board.
We build to WCAG 2.2 AA. Software that excludes people is defective, not a trade-off to be scheduled for later.
Tests, change records and the reasoning behind decisions are written down as the work happens. A claim we cannot evidence is one we do not make.
We name the technology, the constraint and the risk. Vague proposals are usually hiding vague thinking.
